Wrong name?

[edit]

Wrong name for the individual? On Saudi Arabia's 85 most wanted list (accessed from: http://intelwire.egoplex.com/2009_02_05_blogarchive.html), Ibrahim Hassan Asiri is listed as number eight, while "Khalid Ibrahim Ahmed Hyacinth Alasiri" is listed as number seventeen. The facts listed under Ibrahim Hassan Asiri (#8) seem to be more consistent with the individual believed to have built the explosives used in the 2010 cargo plane bomb plot--particularly the description: "Linked to al-Qaeda in Yemen, expert in explosives and poison". I know that the source is not perfect, and neither is the list (88 entries instead of 85), but I think this is something that maybe should be looked at a little more closely? None of the news articles I've read have referred to Ibrahim Asiri as Khalid Ibrahim Ahmed Hyacinth Alasiri. An additional source of the names: http://www.webcitation.org/query?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.arabnews.com%2F%3Fpage%3D1%26section%3D0%26article%3D118850%26d%3D3%26m%3D2%26y%3D2009&date=2009-09-10 192.132.64.2 (talk) 19:03, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Here the BB refers to him as Ibrahim Hassan Tali al-Asiri .
